Gaiteta

Despite the corona crisis, I still wrote a composition for cello solo for Isabel Vaz. she's going to do it.
The idea is based on Galician cantigas from around 1300 and also written in this medieval style.
The play is about a damsel at her castle. She has a date with her lover and the play is about the day before the nightly adventure. Starts with the sunrise and ends with the sunrise the day after.

I have also made an arrangement of Gaiiteta for carillon, Janno den Engelsman has already passed it on and thinks it is a very good piece for carillon. It will be played in May 2022 in Bergen op Zoom on the carillon of the Peperbus. Then I made another arrangement for bass clarinet, this piece has a different title on the advice of the publisher. And on the advice of Peter Geijsels I edited the piece and he gave me good advice.
All three pieces will be published in due course.
